From their company re-launch to milestone celebrations, we’ve been alongside Hoover to document their story through photo and video. Together, we’ve captured leadership vision, employee culture, technological advancements, and the legacy of a company that has been saving lives with fire-retardant treated wood for 70 years.

As new executives stepped in to guide Hoover into its next chapter, the company placed renewed focus on culture, safety, and customer trust. Hoover had never before used professional photography and videography in their marketing, making this rebrand an opportunity to establish a strong visual identity. The client’s goals were clear: showcase the innovation behind their life-saving product, highlight employees and company culture, and share their legacy with both customers and industry partners.

Pre-Production and Creative Planning

Our team worked closely with Hoover to understand their history and vision for the future. We developed shot lists that ranged from executive interviews to live product demonstrations, ensuring we could capture both the technical expertise and the human stories behind the brand. We sourced locations at their facilities, styled interview environments, and planned a production schedule that aligned with company milestones such as the Fairfield, Texas facility opening and the 70th anniversary celebration.

Execution: Telling Hoover’s Story

The first phase of work began with capturing executive interviews, employee portraits, and product footage for the brand relaunch. These assets were used to introduce Hoover’s renewed identity across internal and external communications.

When Hoover opened their state-of-the-art facility in Fairfield, Texas, our team documented the treatment process, advanced technologies, and the customer appreciation event, creating content that showcased the scale of their innovation and the people behind it.

We also created ongoing educational content through the “TechTalk” series, featuring subject matter experts answering common industry questions about fire-retardant treated wood. This series positioned Hoover as a trusted resource for customers and industry partners.

Most recently, we helped Hoover celebrate their 70th anniversary with a documentary-style project that combined executive interviews, employee stories, and historic perspectives, including an interview with the son of the company’s founder. The result was a powerful narrative that honored Hoover’s history, highlighted its impact, and looked ahead to the future.

Results and Impact

The visuals created by Digital Love have been integral to Hoover’s marketing and communications efforts. Over the last 2 1/2 years, Digital Love has produced six large-scale photo and video shoots around the country, created 7 long-form company videos (from Hoover's 70th anniversary spotlight to the treatment process of their product) delivered 17 photo galleries with over 2,500 images, and helped build an educational series for YouTube with 40+ FAQ style videos.

Beyond the milestone storytelling, Digital Love photographed Hoover’s brand new corporate headquarters through a comprehensive architectural photography series. Captured with an emphasis on design, scale, and intentional detail, the imagery showcases the innovation and forward-thinking mindset embedded in the company and their new space.
